Maple Balsamic Roasted Brussel Sprouts
When I was younger, I always heard people talk about how disgusting brussel sprouts are. I didn't try them for that reason. Now that I'm older, I realize that maybe those people just didn't know how to cook them. When brussel sprouts are roasted, with the perfect blend of seasoning, they taste incredible. That's why I love these maple balsamic brussel sprouts.
Ingredients
1 lb of halved brussel sprouts
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 tbsp maple syrup (could sub honey)
1 tsp dijon mustard
Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat your oven to 400 F. Mix together the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, dijon mustard and salt and pepper. Toss the brussel sprouts in the mixture.
LIne a baking sheet with parchment paper (makes cleanup easier). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the brussel sprouts are tender and crispy on the outside.
