Garlic Butter Salmon
Simple pan seared salmon with lemony garlic butter and fresh dill.
Salmon, what’s not to love about it? It’s one my sisters favorite meals, so every time I make it I think of her of course.
My favorite quick way to prepare salmon is to pan sear it. It literally takes about 5-7 minutes total and you’re on your way to a delicious dinner.
What makes this salmon so special?
I’m so glad you asked. The combination of the garlic, butter, lemon and salt really make this salmon super good. You’d have to try it yourself to understand. Lemon and fresh herbs always make seafood taste good. Plus, butter. You can’t go wrong.
How to Make Pan Seared Salmon with Garlic Butter
The first thing you want to do is heat your butter over a medium/high heat. Once the butter starts bubbling you add your garlic into the pan. Then add the salmon, skin side down.
Let the salmon cook on the first side for 3-4 minutes. Then add squeeze of lemon juice to the pan. Then flip the salmon and let it cook on the second side for 2-4 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. Once you flip the salmon, DON’T move it. This is how you mess up the sear on the salmon.
